The ancient Mayan Temples of Palenque and the sacred grid region of Chiapas, Mexico play an important role in this transitional time and for the coming Age of Light. As a positive choice in weathering today's economic climate, this "off the grid" equinox journey is offered at a substantial savings to you! It is offered with the same integrity, but is tailored for those with an adventurous spirit who wish to travel more economically. We will travel as the locals do by first class bus, combi or taxi, and stay in moderate accommodations or retreat type settings. This journey is tailored to a more intimate number of participants and the itinerary may change as Spirit leads or as unexpected magical opportunities arise. This is a wonderful adventure designed to renew your Spirit and gain new insights in maintaining balance in this transformative time. |

Barbara Keefe is an extraordinarily gifted vibrational sound healer and teacher of sacred sound traditions. Many ancient civilizations and modern indigenous cultures have used sound to heal and access higher levels of consciousness for thousands of years. Awakened in Egypt, Barbara was instructed to use her gift of sound to re-open the energies within sacred temple sites. During our journey Barbara will be available for individual sound healing sessions as time allows at an additional fee.

Cynthia Flores-Signet was initiated into the Shamanic Path during two decades of extensive instruction under Toltec and Native American Medicine teachers. Her quest to deepen into the knowledge of the ancient Americas, led her to wisdom keepers of the pre-Incan and Mayan traditions in her travels to Peru, Teotihuacan and the Maya/Olmec lands of Mexico. She will be sharing these ancient wisdom teachings and ceremonies throughout the journey. |

DAY 1: Arrival into Villahermosa Airport. Transportation from airport to Palenque included. (overnight Palenque)
DAY 2: Teachings and ceremonies with Cynthia and Barbara at the sacred Mayan city of Nah Chan Kaan (Palenque), dwelling place of Pakal Votan and La Reina Roja. We will also have the opportunity to go on a jungle hike through ancient pathways to explore unexcavated temple sites untouched for thousands of years with an expert guide and guardian of Palenque! (overnight Palenque) |
 |
Day 3: We travel further into the heart of the Lancondon Selva (jungle) - homeland of the Lancondon Mayan, the Hach Winik...the true people. They are recognized for their white tunics and long black hair, and are direct descendants from the ancient Maya who once inhabited the cities of Palenque, Bonampak and Yaxchilan. They are keepers of ancient knowledge, and continue to guard these sacred sites and perform ceremonies in reverance to the Spirits who dwell there. We will have the honor of participating in one of these sacred ceremonies with a Lancondon elder and wisdomkeeper. (overnight Lancondona)
Day 4: We explore the Mayan ruins of Bonampak, home of the most well preserved murals ever discovered! Back in time for a jungle walk and a refreshing swim in an exquisite waterfall behind our private Lancondon retreat. (overnight Lancondona) |
|
|
Day 5: We journey early morning into the rainforest down the Usumacinta River by lancha boat to the breathtaking ancient Mayan site of Yaxchilan, "the place of the prophecy". (overnight Palenque)
Day 6: We visit the Misol Ha Waterfall (meaning "streaming water"), one of Chiapas' most wonderful natural sights! Falling off the edge of a 120 ft. cliff into a deep pool, it is surrounded by lush jungle vegetation, and is deliciously refreshing for those who want to swim in its ethereal waters. We will also participate in a ritual within a ceremonial water cave behind the falls. (overnight Palenque)
Day 7: Airport departures back to Villahermosa airport. |
